Two Tone Cache Builder

Build a Two Tone logic-puzzle geocache. Fill every grid with two colours to unlock the reveal.

Sign in to save this cache to your account

Free, just a username and passphrase, no email. Caches you build show up in My Caches so you can reopen and edit them without hunting for the edit link, and watch plays and wins. The same account syncs My Puzzle Texts across devices and manages your short links.

My Caches

Two Tone is a Binairo (Takuzu) logic puzzle. The finder fills a grid with two colours so that every cell is filled, no colour repeats three times in a row, each row and column has an equal count of both colours, and no two rows or columns match. Clearing every size you pick unlocks your final coordinates or a keyword. Each grid is generated and checked on our server, so the solution never sits in the page.

Do not put sensitive, personal, or inappropriate content in a cache. Anything you create here is public to anyone with the link, and you are responsible for what you publish. Keep a copy of your edit key, it is the only way to change or delete your cache later.

Only the site admin can see this, in case they need to reach you about your cache. Never shown to players.

Grid sizes

Finders clear your chosen sizes from smallest to largest, and the reveal appears only after they finish the last one. Picking all four sizes is fine, but it knowingly builds a longer cache. Pick at least one.

Every grid can always be finished by reasoning alone, never by guessing. This sets how hard that reasoning gets. Relaxed grids fall out of the two rules the player page teaches, taking one row or column at a time. Standard grids can also need the harder step of listing every filling a whole line still allows, which is a real technique but one that stops many finders. Relaxed grids start with only a few more squares filled in, so they do not look easier at a glance.

Tile colours

Where can I host images for free?

Paste a direct https:// link to an image. Free image hosts that give a direct link include ImgBB, postimages.org, and Cloudinary. A geocaching.com image link works too. The link must start with https://.

Keep your cache in play to keep it live. Share the play link so people visit it; unused caches are cleaned up over time.

An illustration of your colours and shapes, not a real puzzle. Every real cache generates a fresh grid for each player.
