Browser bookmark shortcuts that send highlighted text straight into CacheSleuth tools.
Bookmarklets are a type of bookmark that you save to your browser. Instead of being a direct link to a website, it is a small piece of JavaScript that lets you do something. The bookmarklets below shortcut processes you might do regularly for geocaching. Click here for instructions on how to install a bookmarklet.
CacheSleuth tool bookmarklets
These send whatever you have highlighted straight into a CacheSleuth tool. Highlight some text on any webpage first, then click the bookmarklet. If nothing is highlighted, most of them will ask you to paste the text in.

Highlight cipher text on any webpage, then click this to run it through every decoder at once in the Multi Decoder.

No need to highlight anything. Click this on any webpage, like a cache listing or a forum thread, and it scans the page for GPS coordinates, then sends every one it finds to the Map Coordinates List tool at once, where you can plot and measure them. It recognizes degree-minute and degree-minute-second coordinates (N 47 12.345 W 122 34.567), decimal pairs, Plus Codes, What3Words, and geo: links, reading both visible text and on-page form fields.

Convert Coordinates Bookmarklet +
You can use this bookmarklet by highlighting GPS coordinates on any webpage. Then clicking this link from your bookmarks bar will convert the coordinates for you. Depending on your browser, it may prompt you for coordinates before converting.
Convert Coords BookmarkletGC/TB Number Lookup +
You can use this bookmarklet by highlighting a GC number or TB number on any webpage. Then clicking this link from your bookmarks bar will open that page for you. Depending on your browser, it may prompt you for the GC/TB number before opening the page.
FYI: A GC number will begin with the letters GC followed by letters and numbers. A TB number will be the same, except it will begin with TB.

You can use this bookmarklet by highlighting a word on any webpage or just clicking the link and it will open a box asking you for your search term. It will then open CacheSleuth.com and search the website for your query.

You can use this bookmarklet by highlighting text on any webpage or just clicking the link and it will open a box asking you for the text you want to manipulate. It will then open the Text Manipulator tool on CacheSleuth.com and paste it in for you.

You can use this bookmarklet by highlighting a Geocaching username on any webpage to open that user's profile for you. Depending on your browser, it may prompt you for the username before opening the page.

You can use this bookmarklet by highlighting words on any webpage to open a search for geocaches with those words. Depending on your browser, it may prompt you for the keyword before doing the search.

When you are entering coordinates into the GeoCheck.org website, it requires a captcha to prove you are human. This bookmarklet automatically fills in the 5 digit number for you to save time.
