How to play a nonogram

The numbers beside a row and above a column are blocks of filled cells, in order, with at least one blank between blocks. A row reading 4 2 has four filled cells, then a gap, then two more.

Tap a cell to fill it in Pencil mode. Switch to Mark X and tap to cross off a cell you have ruled out. Drag across a run to paint several at once. A clue fades out once that whole line matches it.

When the picture looks right, press Check my picture. A wrong answer costs a heart and tells you how many cells are off, but not which ones. Run out of hearts and the puzzle starts over.

Every puzzle is worked out on the server, so the answer is never hidden in this page.
