A friend sits on a striped ramp at the left of a sunset hillside, and a mattress lies on the ground somewhere out to the right. Press anywhere on the stage and drag back and down to pull the friend into the ramp: how far back you pull sets the power and the direction you pull sets the angle, and a dotted line shows the first stretch of the arc that launch would take, stopping well short of the ground so the landing is yours to judge. Let go to launch. While the friend is in the air, press and hold anywhere to make them go flat and glide, which flattens the arc and slows the fall, and let go to tumble again. Land on the mattress to score a landing, and miss it to lose a heart. On a keyboard, the up and down arrows change the angle, the left and right arrows change the power, Enter launches, and the space bar holds the glide. The mattress is drawn at its full width with the landing window lit down its middle, and the egg is fragile so its window is narrower than the mattress it is lying on.

How to play
There are two halves to every launch. First the aim: press anywhere on the stage and drag back and down, as if you were pulling the friend into the ramp. How far you pull sets the power and the direction you pull sets the angle, and a dotted line shows the first stretch of the arc it would take. It stops well short of the ground on purpose: it tells you what the launch is doing, steep or flat, hard or soft, and leaves where it comes down to your own judgment. Let go to launch, or pull almost nothing at all to think again.
Then the flight. Press and hold anywhere in the air and the friend goes flat and glides: less gravity, less drag, and a capped rate of descent. Hold early and the arc flattens out at once, hold late and the fall slows to a drift. Let go and they tumble again, and you can hold as many times as you like on the way down.
The mattress is drawn at its real width with the landing window lit down the middle of it. Come down inside that window and it is a landing. Anything else that touches the ground is a miss and costs a heart, and when the hearts are gone the run is over.
Your friends fly differently and the queue tells you who is up. The light one hangs about and glides beautifully but does not carry. The heavy one carries a long way and glides like a boulder. The egg is fragile, so it has to come down with its whole body on the mattress rather than merely its middle, and you can see that in the narrower lit window.
The mattress moves every launch and narrows as the landings pile up. Coming down near the middle is a sweet landing, which doubles your points and starts a streak. The points and the streak are for the celebration only: what unlocks the cache is landings, and nothing else.
On a keyboard the up and down arrows change the angle, the left and right arrows change the power, Enter launches, and the space bar holds the glide.
The moment you reach the goal your reveal is locked in and safe, even if the very next launch goes badly. Switching tabs or leaving the window pauses the run and lets go of any glide you were holding.
Sound and vibration are both off until you turn them on, with the two small buttons above the stage. Vibration needs its own switch on, and it only buzzes on a phone or tablet that supports it. An iPhone is not one of them for this game: the only buzz iOS gives a web page is one under a finger on a control, and this game is played with a hold rather than a tap, so the button does not appear there.
